The ranch was initially owned by Parrie Haynes who, after her death, donated it to the orphans in Texas in 1957. The Texas Juvenile Justice Department leased the ranch to Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas, Inc. This lease was signed on January 1, 2016 for a term of twenty years.
Parrie Haynes Ranch is located along the Lampasas River, south of Killeen and Fort Hood. Spread in an extensive area of 4,500+/- acre, the ranch is perfect for you to view, appreciate and enjoy in natural surroundings. The facilities on the west side of the ranch can accommodate groups up to 140 people. You can take part in a wide range of activities at the ranch including:
